Welcome to the O'Connell Funeral Home

Family-owned and founded by Joseph M. O’Connell in 1929, the O’Connell Funeral Home on Little Plains Road in Southampton has a long established record for excellence.

In 2003, Kenneth T. Rothwell joined John “Jack” O’Connell, as another generation carries on a time-honored tradition of personal attention and compassion in tending to the needs of families experiencing the loss of a loved one.

At the O’Connell Funeral Home every funeral is unique and personal. Lauded for the dignity and sensitivity brought to each and every service, the staff is experienced in coordinating large military, law enforcement, and firematic services paying tribute to the joys, sacrifices, and contributions others have made on behalf of the greater community.

Whether you require a large or small gathering, or a simple private remembrance, at O’Connell you are assured of the dignity, comfort, and attention to detail that is so important at this difficult time.

"A meaningful and memorable service remains the hallmark of the O’Connell Funeral Home."
